Explore what life was like in Chippenham in the 1920s & 30s, as objects, costume, photographs & artworks bring the era to life.
Marking the centenary of the opening of John Coles Park in 1923, this exhibition explores the glamour of the cinema and fashions from the period, as well as strikes, protests and the legacy and threat of war.
To accompany the exhibition, there will be a programme of talks and events. More information can be found on the ‘What’s On’ page of our website.
Chippenham Museum, a Chippenham Town Council facility, is free entry, open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm, including bank holidays.
