The Royal Marines Charity are on a mission to raise £1.5 million by the end of 2023 to support Royal Marines and their families through life.
To help them achieve this local artist, Rae Melody, is running a ‘Cakes for Commandos’ fundraiser. The aim of the cake sale is to highlight what the Royal Marines Charity do, bring people from the local community together, to enable those connected to the military to meet and share stories and to enjoy lots of cake!
Rae will also be unveiling a large scale piece of art that she is creating which will be auctioned off (at a later date) to raise money for the charity.
Please join Rae in raising a bit of cash, having a cuppa and some cake and in celebrating 359 years of the Corps from 11am to 2pm on Saturday 28th October at Platinum House, 35 Market Place, Chippenham, SN15 3HT (next to St Andrew’s Church).
