We’re excited about expanding our volunteer team for One Chippenham, aiming to enrich the content, information, and news on our website for the greater benefit of the local community.
Your key responsibilities would include:
- Researching “what’s on” in Chippenham:
- Explore local businesses, activities, clubs, groups, events, information, and walks.
- Conduct online research, visit local venues, make calls, and network to gather comprehensive and up-to-date resources.
- Optionally focus on a specific part of Chippenham or an area of interest (e.g., environmental, arts, pre-school activities, local walks) to ensure a well-rounded coverage.
- Compiling and verifying local information:
- Ensure accuracy in details such as opening hours, booking information, dates, and contact details.
- Maintaining the online events calendar:
- Assist in keeping the One Chippenham events calendar current and relevant.
- Updating the One Chippenham website:
- Add engaging blogs and events to enhance the website’s appeal and usefulness.
- Raising awareness in the local community:
- Help promote the One Chippenham website to increase its visibility and reach within the local community.
We understand that each volunteer brings a unique set of skills and interests. Your role can be tailored based on your strengths and comfort with technology. Our primary goal is to build a reliable team of volunteers who collaborate effectively and support different facets of the tasks at hand.
