Working closely in partnership with care homes across Wiltshire and Swindon, Care Home Volunteers (CHV) recruits, trains and supports volunteers who spend quality time with older residents in care homes.
They say “Our lovely team of volunteers offer friendly conversation and companionship to care home residents, especially those who have no visitors, sharing interests, helping them to keep in touch with the outside world and giving them an opportunity to reminisce about the good old days.
