Chippenham RFC is a Members-run Rugby Club that was established in 1898 and soon will be celebrating 125 years of Rugby in the town.
The Club has over 1,000 members and is run by a team of over 100 Volunteers who all contribute to the successful club you see today.
The Club owns 22 acres of land on the outskirts of the Town and includes Three full sizes pitches which are all floodlit and a fantastic All Weather Pitch which is used for multi-sports. In addition, we also have training pitches and a great Cricket pitch and Pavilion which is the home of Allington Cricket Club.
We have a very large Clubhouse which caters for events up to 150 people and provide excellent food from our 5* star hygiene kitchen.
We have 4 Senior Rugby Teams, a Womens Rugby Squad, Junior Rugby, Girls Rugby and Mini Rugby for all ages. In addition, we have a thriving Touch Rugby Section and a Walking Rugby group which is for the 50+ section.
The Club also hosts a Netball Team (Allington NC) and an Aussie Rules Team, the Chippenham Redbacks.
Over the years, Chippenham have produced 30 players that have gone on to represent their country either at Full International, Student or Schools level but we never forget that were’re at the heart of the Chippenham community and have hosted the Chippenham Schools Tag Rugby Festival for many years and this year saw over 200 pupils take part.
Chippenham RFC are proud to have attended and supported many events in the town including Sports Fairs, Schools events and even Town Hall presentations to Councillors.
New members are always very welcome to join and we have Rugby for all skill levels and ages at Chippenham RFC.

If you click on the link above and look under the ‘Teams’ section on the website you can find your son’s age group (U13’s?). You can read about training times and view contact details for the coaches that run that particular age group. NB U13 would be if your son is under 13 at the start of the new school year.
