Chippenham Film Club May feature

Ali (Matthias Schoenaerts) meets Stephanie (Marion Cotillard) when he saves her from a brawl at the nightclub. Their casual acquaintance develops into something much more after a horrible accident. As Stephanie draws on Ali’s physical strength, an unexpected courtship slowly comes to life.

Cotillard was nominated for a whole slew of major awards for her performance, Schoenaerts picked up a Cesar for best newcomer. The London Film Critics Circle awarded Rust and Bone best foreign language film.
