Chippenham Film Club September feature – Dogman

Dogman is the story of Marcello (played by Marcello Fonte), a timid dog groomer who moonlights as a drug dealer, and his encounters with Simoncino, a violent gangster. When Simocino frames Marcello in a crime, Marcello begins to plot his revenge.

Dogman enjoyed some 40 nominations and 32 industry awards, most notably Marcello Fonte, who won the Palme d’ Or for best actor, the canine cast also picked up the Palm Dog, I’m not joking, they really did.
