Tiny Forest Community Event at Monkton Park, Chippenham

We’d love for you to come and join us so together we can understand more about the environmental and social benefits that your Tiny Forest brings to the community.

Over the course of the session, you will learn about:

• Wildlife in the forest including butterflies, bees, and bugs!
• How trees can capture and store carbon from the air we breathe
• The forest’s ability to store water
• The cooling benefits of the trees

So please come along, enjoy time immersed in nature and take part in hands-on research.

The Tiny Forest located in Monkton Park can be accessed via Sunningdale Close & Sadlers Mead.

Refreshments will not be provided on the day so please bring some water and anything else you might need.

Outdoor shoes and clothing are advised. If you have gardening gloves please bring these with you too.

Please also bring a phone or tablet along with you in order to use our online science surveys. We will have printed copies on the day too if that’s not possible.
