Chippenham Foodbank is run by The Salvation Army and operates on a voucher system. If you need a referral to the food bank please contact Wiltshire Citizens Advice on 03444 111 444 or via their website. Several other agencies in the town are able to issue vouchers for the food bank, including:
- Social services
- Unity House Hostel for the Homeless
- Wiltshire Council
- RISE Children’s Centres
- Probation Service
- Mental health teams
The Chippenham Food bank is open from 10.00am-12.00pm on Tuesdays and 10am-11.30am on Fridays.

Hello, I’ve started a collection box for food at my work place. I work everyday till 2pm so would I be able to drop the food off on a Fri? As Friday’s I finish at 1.30.

A food collection box at your place of work sounds like a brilliant idea. The Salvation Army run the local Chippenham Foodbank. I’m sure if you drop Sandra and Chris an email to chippenham@salvationarmy.org.uk or call them on 01249 655458 they will be able to sort out a mutually convenient time for you to drop off the food.
